Obama's absent father was a Muslim. His half-siblings are Muslim, including one who is very radical in his beliefs. His step-mom is (or isn't, she changes her story often). Obama himself also practiced the Muslim religion.
But it's just a coincidence that this animated gif of Obama's campaign logo looks similar to radical/violent/murderous Muslims' favorite things... a crescent and a scimitar.
